Diretrizes para Autores

A Comissão Editorial do periódico eletrônico Memória e Informação estabelece as seguintes normas editoriais para a recepção de originais:

Os textos deverão ser redigidos conforme a norma de apresentação de artigos da Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT) - NBR 6022, de 2018.

Para submissão, os autores devem ter a titulação de doutor ou mestre. Serão aceitos manuscritos de especialistas, graduados e graduandos somente em coautoria com doutores.

Os textos deverão ser remetidos por meio da plataforma OJS.

Aspectos formais:

Os textos deverão ser digitados com as seguintes configurações:

Margens superior e esquerda: 3 cm; Margens inferior e direita: 2 cm;

Formato de papel: A4;

Fonte: Times New Roman, corpo  12;

Espaçamento entrelinha 1,5 cm;

Alinhamento justificado, com a exceção das referências.

A apresentação dos artigos deverá obedecer a seguinte ordem:

1. Elementos pré-textuais:

Título centralizado em negrito, fonte Times New Roman, corpo 14;

Espaço interlinear em branco entre o título e partes do texto;

Resumo/abstract: 100 a 250 palavras, redigido de acordo com a NBR 6028:2021, seguido das palavras-chave (mínimo de 3 e máximo de 5, separadas por ponto e vírgula, conforme configuração e orientações abaixo:

Resumo:

Todo artigo deve ser precedido de um resumo em português, contendo no máximo 500 caracteres, incluídos os espaços em branco. O resumo deverá ser informativo. A fonte a ser utilizada é Times New Roman, ter espaçamento simples entre as linhas. As palavras-chave deverão ser apresentadas em seguida e conter entre três a cinco. As iniciais de cada uma devem ser grafadas em letra minúscula com exceção dos substantivos próprios e separadas por ponto e vírgula.

Palavras-Chave: palavra 1; palavra 2; palavra 3.

Abstract:

O resumo em inglês é obrigatório e deve seguir as mesmas orientações pertinentes ao item resumo em língua portuguesa explicado acima, assim como para as palavras-chave em inglês. Caso, não redija em inglês será feito por especialista contratado pela revista.

Keywords: word 1; word 2; word 3.

2. Elementos textuais:

• Constituído em partes, preferencialmente de introdução, desenvolvimento e conclusão. Os subtítulos devem seguir a numeração progressiva conforme a Norma NBR 6024:2012.

• O uso de notas, citações, gráficos, figuras, quadros, fotografias etc, devem ser limitados ao mínimo. Em relação ao uso de tabelas, consultar as Normas de Apresentação Tabular do IBGE, 1993.

• As citações no corpo do texto deverão ser redigidas de acordo com a NBR 10520:2023. As citações poderão ser:

• Citações indiretas: apresentam as ideias do autor, sem propriamente transcrever suas próprias palavras [as do autor].

• Citações diretas curtas (de até três linhas - Inseridas no texto, entre as aspas duplas, sem itálico).

• Citações diretas longas (mais de três linhas) - Recuo de 4 cm, fonte Times New Roman, corpo 11, espaçamento simples, espaço simples entre corpo do texto e citação longa um enter, seguindo a formatação da citação.

• Notas de rodapé deverão estar ao final de cada página com corpo 10.

• As siglas devem ser precedidas de sua descrição por extenso quando aparecerem pela primeira vez no manuscrito.

• Incluir, após o texto, caso necessário, o(s) nome(s) da(s) pessoa(s) que de alguma maneira auxiliou/auxiliaram seja na coleta de dados, nas ilustrações, ou mesmo na utilização de laboratórios mencionando "AGRADECIMENTOS" antes das Referências.

3. Elementos pós-textuais: 

Referências - As referências bibliográficas deverão ser redigidas de acordo com a NBR 6023:2025.

• Os originais não deverão ser paginados.

• os pareceres referentes aos originais serão encaminhados aos autores no prazo máximo de cento e vinte dias, a contar da data de recebimento, por meio de comunicação eletrônica.

• a identificação de autoria dos trabalhos deverá ser removida do arquivo e da opção Propriedades no Word, garantindo desta forma o critério de sigilo da revista, quando for submetido para avaliação por pares, conforme instruções disponíveis no Processo de Avaliação pelos Pares acima.

Steps to be followed for submission

To submit an article, the author has to check out and follow all the items presented here.  The submissions which are not in accordance to the guidelines will be returned to their authors.

The contribution must be original, unpublished and it mustn’t have been evaluated to be published in another magazine. If so, the author should justify it on the section “Editor’s Comments”.

Files for submission must be in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF.

URLs for references must be informed whenever possible.

The space for the text must be 1,5 cm; the font (typeface) of 12-points; Italic must be used instead of underlined (except for URL addresses); pictures and charts must be inserted within the text, not at the end of the document as an appendix.

The text follows the style standard and bibliographic requirement described in Authors’ Guidelines on the section About the periodic.

Guidelines for the Authors

The Editorial Commission of the electronic periodic Memória e Informação lays down the following editorial rules for receiving the originals:

The texts must be written according to the standards stablished by The Brazilian Association of Technical Standards  -  Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT) - NBR 6022, de 2018.

Texts should be sent through the plataform SEER.

Formal aspects:

The texts should be typed according to the following settings:

Top and left edges:  3 cm; Bottom and right edges: 2 cm;

A4 paper format;

Times New Roman size 12;

Line spacing 1,5cm;

Justified alignment, except for the references.

The articles should be presented following the order below:

1. Pre-textual elements:

Centralized title in bold, Times New Roman, size 14;

Interlinear blank space between the title and parts of the text;

Summary/abstract: 100 to 250 words, written according to the NBR 6028:2003, followed by the key-words  (minimum 3 and maximum  5), separated by period, according to the setting and guidelines bellow:

Summary:

Each article must be preceded by a summary, in Portuguese, containing the maximum of 500 characters, including the blank spaces. It should be informative. Times New Roman font and single spaced. The key-words must be from 3 up to 5 separated by semicolons.

Key-words: Word 1. Word 2. Word 3.

Abstract:

The summary in English is mandatory and must follow the same guidelines as the summary written in Portuguese, as mentioned above, presenting the key-words in English. If the author doesn’t write in English, it can be done by a professional hired by the magazine.

Keywords: World 1. Word 2. Word 3.

2. Textual elements:

The text must be composed in parts, such as introduction, development and conclusion. The subtitles should follow the progressive numbering, according to the rules of NBR 6024:2012.

The use of notes, quotes, graphics, pictures, tables, photos etc, should be limited to its least. Concerning the use of charts, there are specific rules to be checked on Normas de Apresentação Tabular do IBGE, 1993.

Quotes in the text should obey the rules stablished on NBR 10520:2023. Quotations can be:

Indirect quotes: present the author’s idea, without transcribing his/her own words literally.

Direct and short quotes up to three lines, inserted in the text between quotation marks, without italics.

Direct long quotes (with more than three lines): retreat with 4 cm, Times New Roman, font 11, single line spaces, single space between the text and the quote, press enter, following quotation format.

Footnotes should be at the end of each page in font 10.

Abbreviations must be preceded by its full name when mentioned on the text for the first time.

Whenever it is required, the author can add the name of the people who contributed for the work, in a certain way. It can be with collecting data, pictures or setting places. The complimente should come before the References.

3. Post textual elements:

References – All the references shoud come in accordance to the standards of NBR 6023:2018.

The originals shouldn’t be numbered.

The opinion about the original will be sent to the authors through electronic communication within 120 days, considering the date when it was received.

The author’s identification should be removed from the file, according to the tool Proprieties presented, in Word program, in order to ensure the confidentiality criterion of the magazine. In case of peer evaluation, it will take place according to the instructions available in Peer review process.

Declaration of copyright statement

The periodic reserves the right to alter or make any necessary changings, according the the normative, grammar and speeling standards, in order to maintain the standard language, although, respecting the author’s style. A final version revised will be sent to the authors before being published.

The work published will belong to Memória e Informação periodic and its partial or total reproduction is forbidden without the Editorial Committee permission. Except in case of use for study or research. The font of the original publication must be consigned. The originals will not be given back to the authors. The authors of the articles are the only ones responsible for their opinions. 

Memória e Informação is licensed under the license Creative Common.

Privacy Policy

The names and adresses informed in the magazine are available exclusively for services provided by this publication. So, they are not available for other purposes.
